Using the Ad spaces in your radio website

Using the Ad spaces in your radio website

The idea is earning money through the internet, something that seemed absurd some time ago and today is a clearly possible thanks to ad spaces on websites and blogs. Indeed, it’s possible to earn a lot of money; BRLOGIC takes the hassle out of it.

Just like “real life” spaces set aside for advertisements, signs, outdoors, magazine or newspaper pages, or even intervals on radio stations or television, the ad spaces on your website take any content you wish promote on them.

The only difference on the internet, is the way that technology influences the ad. Internet publicity can be divided in two types, direct and indirect.

The latter is more appropriate for personal blogs and smaller platforms that allow registering on joint program like Google Adsense. In this case, you don’t control the publicity and ads that appear on the website yourself, but there is company responsible for it. That’s why it is called indirect.

Direct publicity on the other hand, the more appropriate for a radio station’s websites, is related to ads that are dealt directly with the person or company wishing to advertise. This form of publicity is more similar to the traditional way of advertising. Not only it gives the site’s administrator more control, but it is also more lucrative, since there is no middle man between the owner of the space and who wants to advertise.

It’s simple to all BRLOGIC clients to include as many banners with ads as they like, through their website’s administration tab. Ads can be included either through HTML codes or as images. It is also possible to put up ads as images, as sliders, on the home page or other galleries; however, they won’t be included on the statistics for clicks and views generated when ads are included.

Common sense is the limit

There is no technical limitation for including ads or deciding on the content of the website. In theory, more ads means more income, but you have to put yourself in the audience’s shoes. No one likes a site which is visibly ‘polluted’ with ads; the ‘formula one jumper’ effect, caused by too many ads and logos. That is why you should think carefully about the amount and placement of the ads.

It also is interesting to see it from the advertiser’s perspective; not too many nor too little views. When in doubt, balance is your best bet.

And the ad spaces offered by BRLOGIC’s manageable website provide you with data such as views and clicks, which makes the negotiations between site owner and advertiser easier.
