What’s new on BRLOGIC’s Dashboard
The upgrade has redesigned the online radio’s dashboard, displaying more comprehensive information about the broadcast status.
Check some of the improvements:
Separate screens for Auto DJ and Live
The dashboard now has individual screens to display the status of Auto DJ and Live broadcasts.
Once you start a live broadcast, the dashboard will identify and display the new tab with the connection metadata. At the end of the Live transmission, the dashboard will return to display the Auto DJ tab.
The Live broadcast tab displays the metadata: bitrate, sampling rate, song name, and other important information.
The Auto DJ tab includes many changes.
Besides the information found in previous versions, now the dashboard also displays several new helpful data, including:
- Name and time of the following scheduled playlists.
- Countdown to the beginning of the next scheduled playlists.
- List of upcoming files in the play queue, in the correct order
This tab is dynamically updated. Did the Auto DJ start playing a new song? The dashboard automatically updates. Has a new playlist started? The dashboard will also update the data in real-time!
Dynamic Queue
This update has also brought a unique new feature to simplify online radio management: the Dynamic Queue!
What is the Dynamic Queue?
The Dynamic Queue is a tool that allows you to add files to the Auto DJ play queue without interrupting your online radio’s current broadcast and without editing the running playlist.
You can quickly and intuitively add new files to be played in sequence or replace the current song.
How do I use the Dynamic Queue in BRLOGIC’s Dashboard?
To add a file to the Dynamic Queue, access the File Manager, click the “…” button on the file you wish to add to the queue, and click “Play in Auto DJ”.
Next, choose the option that best suits your needs. “Play now” to stop the current file and play the new chosen one, or “Add to queue” to wait for the playing file to finish.
Files added to the Dynamic Queue will be highlighted in the Dashboard playlist.
The user can remove any file added to the Dynamic Queue.
